Stand Up Paddle Boarding - SUP

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) - has taken the worlds water sports cultures by storm. Hawaii, Australia, France, England and California, have been the traditional leaders, now we see SUP spreading through the waterways and the media in every country.

Thousands of years before Humankind Sailed, we paddled. In our ever increasingly complex existence, the simplicity and directness of SUP is enriching people's lives on many levels.

The joy of surfing, the versatility of kayaking without the weight, SUP brings you the primordial regal-ness of Standing on your own two feet and essentially "taking a stroll" on any body of water, anywhere.

SUP is the work-out, without the work, the speed of the wave, the glide on flat water, the mystery around the next river-bend and we feel very lucky to share this with you.

We walk on two legs - a skill that in itself can take over 1 year to learn. With SUP, we take this basic skill and develop it so that you can effectively walk on water - develop it just littl further and you can surf.

In 3 decades Amara Watersports have never before seen a water-sport where people learn so fast. The skill development potential is without end, yet the progress, sense of achievement and physical improvement come rapidly.

SUP teaches us that by remaining supple and attentive, we can stand firm and move towards our goals, while staying connected to our surroundings no matter how unstable they become.
