At Amara Watersports we have been using this Rig for teaching Intermediate and Advanced Windsurfing Skills. This Sail is perfect for:

  • Customers who know how to Windsurf and would like a stable High Speed Rig - not a training Rig.
  • Providing High Performance at about half the price you would normally pay for a High performance Rig.
  • Stable shape - Lighter Weight than the Dacron Sails.
  • More Powerful than the 6.2M Dacron Sail. - unsuitable for complete beginners.
  • The Perfect rig for people who already have Intermediate Windsurfing Skills - such as how to use Harness and Footstraps.

The 6.7M and 7.3M Windsurfing Rigs are not for beginners - this is what the 3.0M and 5.0M are for.

  • The 6.7M and 7.3M Windsurfing Rigs are lighter, faster, creates more stable power and are much more fun to use.
  • The 6.7M and 7.3M Windsurfing Rigs need to be stored out of the Sun when not in use. Less resistant to UV than Dacron.
  • The 6.7M and 7.3M Windsurfing Rigs are for people who have demonstrated on the 6.5M Rig that they are competent.
  • The 6.7M and 7.3M Windsurfing Rigs need to be treated with more care than the Dacron Rigs.
